Guess what I'm currently watching instead of finishing Yuletide

(...I mean while I'm finishing Yuletide. Yeah, that's the ticket.)

So, am I to understand that, canonically, the principal Muppets all...live...in the same apartment building in New York City?

Am I alone in finding this weird?

ETA: OKAY WAIT A MINUTE THE FOLLOWING THINGS ARE NOW CANON

1) Statler and Waldorf live together

2) Dr. Bunsen Honeydew would rather dance with Beaker than with Petra Nemcova.

ETA #2 Waldorf's wife, Astoria, is the Statler puppet in drag. Just so you know.

And I haven't even had time to mention Sunday's shocking gay kiss in this space! What is the world coming to?

In Muppets From Space they all live in a big ridiculous house together, too! I've never thought it was weird, though. It was always a crazy fantasy of mine to live with all my friends, so I just thought it was cool XD

Somehow the Muppets having apartments makes me try to think of them as adults, and then it's like, hey, what do the Muppets do these days? do they just live off their royalties? and are Kermit and Piggy still technically married from the end of that one movie? and are anthropomorphic rats protected from housing discrimination? and, you know, all that sort of thing. :)

Hahahahahaha and I bet the rats have to deal with exterminators coming in all the time and then Kermit has to be all "No, look, I've told your boss this eight times! They live here! They pay rent!"

Write this!! Errr, when you're done with Yuletide, of course.
