I am getting caught up on Lost
Josh Holloway's pause after saying "Well, I guess I better put some pants on" may be the best "Yeah, I do not entirely believe that they really just made me say that line" take that I have ever seen
Further thoughts:
I am halfway through watching "The Substitute" (so, the episode before the most recent one) and I'm just wondering: Why did Ben kill Locke? I am seriously asking. I thought I had forgotten it, but now I suspect that I actually did not at any point know. I googled it and I still don't know. Speaking of which:
I mean, seriously. That episode was a YEAR ago. A year ago TODAY.

Okay, you guys, I just got to the part where THE SHOW HAS NOW STARTED BEING ITS OWN HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER AU.
Goddammit, show. You're not good at all anymore and yet every time I think I can stop watching you come up with this kind of shit
(Also, further thoughts: It sure is too bad Juliet's dead in this timeline and was robbed of any kind of meaningful arc before she died, and also that they've forgotten how to give characters serious choices, because Juliet would be a pretty great character to be faced with an "in order to get off the island you have to ally yourself with this scary entity who looks like Locke and take this whole thing on faith" choice, rather than taking Sawyer on a suspense-free spin to a Cave of No Particular Mystery)
