I was thinking tonight--around "You were always the right one, Lee"--that next time I come across a new genre show that impresses me with its ass-kicking active female characters, its uncompromising moral complexity, and its diverse, gender-balanced principal cast, maybe I'll just give it a miss from the beginning instead of hanging around to see how it plays out.

That would probably be a lot less stressful.
