very_improbable: Irene Adler winking (irene)

C'mon, guys, I know the movie's slashy and all but is there really NO fandom on LJ/DW at present for the Ritchieverse Irene Adler, on her own or in some pairings or whatnot? That doesn't seem fair.

('Kay there's a story here and a story there, this one by [livejournal.com profile] impertinence is great, but seriously, you guys. She is right there in one of the main roles being all in the plot and stuff. She's not, you know, Harry Kim's fiancee whatsherfuck.[1])

[1] I know her name was Libby, I'm just making a point here

I got annoyed by this, so I made a community for such things (and others) two days ago: [livejournal.com profile] games_afoot

More stories and stuff needed!

Darling, I have a lot of questions about this canon, and not just "who makes Irene Adler's clearly custom-tailored men's-style suits" questions. I would like to apprehend how and why, for instance, an opposite-sex pair of unmarried persons has such a thing as "our old room" at a posh hotel in 1891.

And what the woman was up to when she outwitted Holmes (twice) in this universe since it apparently wasn't the plot of A Scandal in Bohemia.

And in a similar vein what circumstances brought her portrait into the rooms at 221b.

Also I wonder whether in her capacity as globe-hopping adventuress she has made out with encountered Gertrude Bell.

So many questions, Kumquat. A most intriguing set of circumstances. Capital.

Might I say your icon is quite fetching?

(Just rewatched S&A season 1. Her butt is cute.)

Hello! Indeed I did friend you, I was looking at Noo Trek vids from last spring and couldn't figure out why I hadn't added you back when "Circus" went up.

That's an exceptionally cute icon.

I'm so glad you liked that vid!

That's an exceptionally cute icon.

Thank you. The Adipose are my favorite Doctor Who aliens, I think. They're so adorable (or, well, their babies are - we never saw a grown one).
