So, um, I know at least one person on my flist is in what one might term Formula 1 fandom, and...I'm sorry, your fandom is, rather unexpectedly, now officially a bigger pervert than any of mine.

Although not for him, I guess, if somehow it is actually the case that the S&M orgy only looked like it involved Nazi fetishism, because then he's all of a sudden got Jewish anti-defamation groups after him for his sexual kinks when his worst fear about exposure had probably been, you know, being very embarrassed.

Doesn't look good for that possibility, though.

(I mean honestly I'm not sure it makes sense for there to be anti-defamation or Holocaust remembrance groups commenting on this man's sexual kinks anyway. You know? I tend toward Dan Savage (http://www.thestranger.com/seattle/SavageLove?oid=133984)'s take on things like this.)

The problem is that his father was a high-profile Nazi in Britain, and he himself also had a history of involvement with them after WWII. He's been spending the past 30 years distancing himself from that... with success this far. So the problem is not necessarily the OMG BDSM thing, but that it's possible he's been a Nazi all along, he just chose not to talk about his principles.
